The North Judson-San Pierre School Board will choose a construction contractor for its elementary school project tonight.
It will involve the addition of a new gym, while the existing gym will be turned into additional cafeteria space, a multipurpose room, a maker space, a conference room, and a faculty dining room. A new bus garage will also be included in the scope of the project.
Now, some additional projects will be presented for the board’s approval, including upgrades to the high school gym floor, bleachers, and backboards. In other business tonight, the 2021-2022 school calendar will be up for approval, as well as an agreement with teachers regarding paid time off for COVID-19. The school board will also get its annual update on North Judson-San Pierre’s fiscal indicators, and proposed policy updates will be presented for first reading.
Tonight’s North Judson-San Pierre School Board meeting starts at 5:30 in the Elementary School Cafeteria, followed by a board of finance meeting.
