The Town of North Judson will soon be sporting a new town logo.
The North Judson Town Council members reviewed a proof of the seal Monday night. Councilwoman Jane Ellen Felchuk noted that train tracks were not included in the logo, but the other council members thought the proof looked great as is.
They wanted to get it approved as it had taken some time to get the final proof ready for presentation to the council and they did not want any further delays.
Felchuk insisted that the tracks should be included with the blue jay, Erie Trail sign, mint leaves and horizon, but the other three council members commented that they liked it.
Ryan Ehresman produced the design and OTES produced the final digital rendering.
The proof was approved by a vote of 3-1. Council members Josh Brown, Matt Brewer and James Young voted in favor of approving the seal with Jane Ellen Felchuk opposed to the motion. Town Council President John Rowe was not in attendance at the most recent meeting.
The new town logo will be on the town’s letterhead, displayed on the utility trucks and on various other signs around town.
