The Knox Movies in the Park series continues next week. “Arctic Dogs” will be shown Wednesday, July 28 at 8:30 p.m. at the Wythogan Park Performance Stage. Admission is free, and the movie is sponsored by Republic Services.
Then on August 14, Mayor Dennis Estok is planning a drive-in movie night. “We’re playing the movie ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ but the cruise-in, the drive-in, is old cars and all of that,” Estok told the city council last week. “Same as the car show. They come in and all of that, and then we have the movie. And it’s pretty neat.”
The cruise-in will take place August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., while Jam Karaoke will take the stage from 5:30 to 7:30. The movie itself starts at 8:00, sponsored by Traffic Control Specialists and Glory Day Cruisers.
