A second round of COVID-19 relief is on its way to North Judson businesses. Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe told the town council Monday that checks were sent out to businesses that applied late last week. “That’s been wrapped up and disbursed and everything sent to KIRPC for their reporting,” Rowe said.
North Judson was awarded $200,000 through the third phase of the state’s COVID-19 Response Program, to provide grants to small businesses. Rowe previously reported that three businesses outside the town limits ended up getting funded by either Starke or Pulaski County’s COVID-19 Response Program grant, rather than the town’s.
