The Indiana Department of Health will be at the Starke County Fairgrounds Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25 to offer COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to residents.
Rapid antigen and PCR testing are available with no appointments necessary from Noon to 8 p.m. CT at the fairgrounds at 400 Division Street in Hamlet.
The Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines will be available. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is one dose and the Pfizer vaccine is two doses so another visit will be scheduled for the second dose. The COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents 12 and older, but the Pfizer vaccine is only available to those between the ages of 12 and 17.
