The Knox City Council members adopted the 2022 budget when they met last week.
The budget totals just over $3.1 million. The General Fund is almost $1.6 million, the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund is nearly $402,000, Economic Development Income Tax Fund is $616,000, and the Cumulative Capital Development Fund of $88,000, among other line items.
In other business, Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told WKVI News that the peppermint parade is planned for Saturday, December 4.
