A barbeque contest, live music, and a cornhole tournament are coming to Downtown Knox tomorrow. Knoxtoberfest takes place from noon to 10:00 p.m., Mayor Dennis Estok told the city council Tuesday.
It’s hosted by Knox Main Street United, a non-profit downtown revitalization organization. Since being accepted into the state’s Downtown Affiliate Network last spring, it’s hosted a Space Race and overseen the biweekly Knox Farmers Market. A downtown WiFi project is also in the works.
