The Pulaski County Commissioners reorganized during their meeting Monday night where Commission President Chuck Mellon was retained in that position along with Maurice Loehmer as Vice President.
They reappointed all department heads including Highway Supervisor Gary Kruger, Highway General Manager David Ols, Maintenance Director Larry Weaver, Building Inspector Karla Redweik, Emergency Management Administrator Sheri Gaillard, and Emergency Medical Services Director Brandon DeLorenzo.
During their December 27 special meeting, the commissioners took action to hire a new Recycling/Transfer Station Manager. They hired John Kegarise to take over the vacant position and they appointed him to that spot Monday night.
There is one vacancy that remains which is the Veterans Service Officer. Brett Frain recently resigned from that position. A Veterans Service Officer in a neighboring county may be able to assist veterans with needs until a new Veterans Service Officer is hired in Pulaski County.
