Winamac Water and Street Superintendent Jeremy Beckner announced Monday that the Town of Winamac is issuing a system-wide freeze warning.
During the freeze warning, all residential and commercial water and sewer customers are asked to leave cold water run in a small stream from an inside faucet. Beckner suggested that the steam be about the size of a toothpick.
Keep the water running even when it gets above freezing. The Town of Winamac will lift the warning when Beckner believes it is safe to do so.
