Knox Mayor Dennis Estok commended the Street Department during the Knox City Council meeting Tuesday night.
“They did an outstanding job for the first major storm,” said Mayor Estok. “They worked a lot of hours didn’t complain a bit. I think they deserve a lot of credit for that.”
Additionally, Mayor Estok invites Knox alumni to be a part of the planning process for the Knox Alumni Reunion set for July 1 at Wythogan Park. The planning meeting is today at 4:30 p.m. CT at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox. Ideas for the events during the reunion are welcome to go with a beer garden, food, and music by Magic Bus.
The Knox Alumni Reunion will be followed by the Family Fun Day and fireworks show Saturday, July 2 at Wythogan Park.
