Pulaski County Commissioners Approve Resolution to Allow Early Voting Location Change

Pulaski County Clerk JoLynn Behny presented a resolution during the joint meeting of the Pulaski County Council and Pulaski County Commissioners last week that would designate the Microfilm Room in the Courthouse to be used as an early voting location.

The early voting location had been at the Pulaski County Justice Center, but it needs to change due to the current construction project.

The commissioners were the only entity required to approve the resolution and it passed with a unanimous vote.

Early voting in the Microfilm room in the Pulaski County Courthouse will be Tuesday, April 5 through Friday, April 29 (Monday through Friday) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.  It will also be open two Saturdays, April 23 and April 30, and Monday, May 2 from 8 a.m. to noon ET.

The Francesville Fire Station will also be an early voting site on April 23 and April 30 from 8 a.m. to Noon ET.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 3 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.  Five Vote Centers will be open that day including the Francesville Fire Station, Medaryville Christian Church, Star City Community Center, Pulaski County Highway Garage and the Monterey Town Hall.
