The Knox Community School Board members were updated on the COVID policies last week, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart.
“Because of the relaxation of the CDC guidelines, Knox Community Schools will no longer be requiring students to quarantine,” commented Dr. Reichhart. “We will tell parents that if the students are positive from COVID they need to stay home. As soon as they are asymptomatic and are free from symptoms, they may return back to school. We also will not be any longer pursuing close contacts.”
Dr. Reichhart said it will be a mask optional environment.
