A public test of voting machines is planned for Tuesday in the Starke County Clerk’s Office and in the Pulaski County Clerk’s Office.
This is an opportunity for the clerk, MicroVote and election officials in each county to randomly select voting machines and test them to ensure they will be ready for Election Day, May 3. A test ballot will be available for election officials to select candidates on a sample ballot in the machine and go through the process a voter would do when casting a ballot. After the process is complete, the machine will be reset and that test ballot will be eliminated from the system.
The public test of the machine will be in the Starke County Courthouse at 10 a.m. CT and it will be at 2 p.m. ET in the Pulaski County Courthouse.
