Natasha Bradley was sentenced in Starke Circuit Court Thursday, April 14.
Bradley, 32, of Knox, was found guilty by a Starke County jury of a Level 5 Felony count of attempted burglary following a two-day trial in Starke Circuit Court in late March.
Evidence was presented by Starke County Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Thomas Poulos and Defense Attorney Richard Ballard that Bradley unlawfully entered a residence on Toto Road with the intent to commit the offense of theft.
Testimony was given by the victim and police officers who worked the case, as well as a forensic scientist from the Indiana State Police Lowell Post Lab.
Starke Circuit Court Judge Kim Hall sentenced Bradley to three years in the Indiana Department of Corrections with no part of the sentence suspended. She will be permitted to serve the sentence with Starke County Court Services on electronic monitoring through Starke County Community Corrections, once a home is found that qualifies. She will be credited with 241 total time served in jail.
There is no restitution sought in this case and Bradley is not to have any contact with the victim. Bradley did not indicate in court if she was going to appeal the sentence, but her attorney will go over options with her.
