
The City of Knox will host free Friday concerts in the month of July in Wythogan Park.
The first concert is Friday, July 1 with Magic Bus. Magic Bus features a tribute to the Woodstock era with music and ambiance from during that time. The concert is also sponsored in part by the Starke County Convention and Visitors Commission. Friday’s concert begins at 7 p.m. CT.
MGB will play July 8. This band features a solid mix of country and rock hits from the 50s to the 80s. Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders will be featured on July 15 with country music. The Wildheart Band will have classic rock, country and southern rock and blues on July 22, and Chronic Flannel will have rock, hip-hop and reggae hits from the 90s to the 2000s on July 29.
Admission and parking to the Concert in the Park series is free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating outside of the beer garden. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. CT.
