Movies in the Park in the Winamac Town Park begin June 24.
Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers said the Winamac Park Board members were updated about the start of the activity during their meeting last week. The movies will be shown in the area of the Pulaski County 4-H Fairgrounds. Admission is free and they will be shown at dusk. A formal listing of movies was not yet available.
Zellers also noted that there will not be a July meeting as many board members will not in attendance. That sparked a conversation about having meetings every other month rather than the current monthly schedule. Nothing was decided.
Park Manager Aaron Spanley assured the park board members that the park will be ready for the 4-H fair and the Power from the Past Show in July and will have a recap during the board’s next meeting in August.
