The three Knox Community School Corporation buildings will be getting new carpet and other flooring after action taken by the Knox School Board last week.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart said work will be done by Preferred Flooring.
Reichhart stated, “At the Knox Middle School, we’re going to redo four classrooms with carpeting, and we’re also going to redo the FACS classroom and put some new vinyl flooring in there. We’re going to redo the band room carpeting at the Middle School and then we’re also going to carpet the hallway on the one end of the High School.”
Dr. Reichhart noted that the total cost of $39,487 will be paid out of current building project funds so there will be no impact to taxpayers.
