Knox Community School Board Hires New Athletic Director

The Knox Community School Board hired a new athletic director Tuesday night.

Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart announced that Richard Warren was selected as the next athletic director.

“He comes to us from West Central,” explained Dr. Reichhart.  “He was their athletic director last year.  He will be taking over the spot vacated by Greg Estok who moved on to our assistant principal position at the high school. We’re excited to have him on board and he’s got some big shoes to fill but I’m sure he’ll be up to that task.”

Additionally, Amy Webb was approved by the school board as the new athletic secretary following the recent retirement of Beverly Albright. Several other teachers were hired Tuesday night as the corporation looks toward the upcoming school year that begins for students on August 4.
