Knox School Resource Officer Travis Scheiber presented a flag to the Knox Community School Board during their most recent meeting.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart said Scheiber just returned to his duties at the school after serving the United States overseas.
“He presented the corporation with a huge flag, I think it’s 10 feet by 25 feet, and it flew over the Base Defense Operation Center of Eskan Village in Saudi Arabia,” explained Dr. Reichhart. “It actually flew on October 4, 2021.”
Dr. Reichhart said the board members and those in attendance at the meeting thanked Officer Scheiber for his service and for the generous recognition. He said the flag and accompanying plaque will be proudly displayed at the Knox Community School Corporation.
