Kersting’s Cycle Center is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
A full-day celebration is scheduled for Saturday, October 8. The public is invited as there will be a variety of activities, food and entertainment for all ages. Kersting’s World of Motorcycles Museum will be open for visitors to view vintage motorcycles, antique automobiles and the entire 60-year history of the dealership.
Entertainment throughout the day includes a bike and car show, a Harley-Davidson stunt show, a stationary Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle where visitors can experience shifting gears and learning the bike’s controls. There will be four live bands, food trucks, and a beer garden for ages 21 and over. Special kids activities include a bounce house, and tiny tots riding experience.
A complete schedule of events can be found on Kersting’s Cycle Center Facebook page.
Over the past 60 years, the dealership has raised money for a number of local and regional charities, including MDA, Children’s Miracle Ride, Toys for Kids and the Nella Kersting Memorial Scholarship.
Kersting’s Cycle Center and Museum is a full-line Harley-Davidson and Yamaha facility offering motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, motor clothes, accessories, parts and service, located four miles south of North Judson on Highway 39.
