Tri-Township Consolidated School Corporation received $160,000 for the Excellence in Literacy Award.  This award focuses on ensuring all students demonstrate proficiency in foundational reading skills. Tri-Township achieved 100 percent district-wide passing rate on the 2022 IREAD-3 assessment.  Superintendent Kelly Shepherd said Tri-Township was the only corporation to achieve this.

School awards are funded through the state’s federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) grant.
