A North Judson woman did not sustain injuries after police say the car she was driving hit a building at the intersection of East Street and Culver Road in Knox.
According to the Knox City Police Department, officers responded to the area Friday afternoon and made contact with the driver and sole occupant, 18-year-old Lindsey Chevrette. The accident remains under investigation.
First responders from the Knox-Center Township Fire Department assisted the Knox City Police Department, along with Starke County EMS.
Police say alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the incident.
