State Road 39 and State Road 8 in Starke County will be closed for two culvert replacements on or after Wednesday, July 5.
Indiana Department of Transportation officials say State Road 39 will be closed between County Road W. 1800 S. and County Road W. 50 S., and State Road 8 will be closed at the intersection with State Road 39. These closures will be in place for approximately three weeks.
Motorists should seek alternate routes. The official detour will follow U.S. 30, U.S. 35, State Road 10 and U.S. 421.
