Knox Community School Board Approves MOU with SCILL

The Knox Community School Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the SCILL Center last week.

Superintendent Greg Mikulich discussed the terms of the agreement.

“That is an agreement between us and SCILL for the use of our welding lab and classroom space at Knox High School,” said Mikulich.  “There will be a $600 monthly rental fee that we will charge beginning in December along with utilities.”

He also stated that the case conference coordinator position was reinstated.

“That is a person who will be calling our Special Education students that have a individualized learning plan and scheduling the annual meetings that need to take place.  That is a position we are bringing back.”

Mikulich said that position is being brought back after it was dissolved in the 2017-2018 school year.
