North Judson Town Marshal Updates Town Council on Vandalism

North Judson Town Marshal Kelly Fisher updated the North Judson Town Council members this week on ongoing vandalism in town.

Fisher told the council members that there have been several areas where suspects have thrown eggs causing issues around town which has led to other vandalism including park bathrooms.  Fisher said officers will be working to investigate the issue with hopes of a conclusion soon.

In other news, a suspect kicked the door of a 2022 Dodge Durango on the fleet and caused damage in a recent incident.  Fisher noted that the suspect did not escape, but the cage in the vehicle was thought to be a little sturdier to withstand such an action.  She said the door will likely have to be replaced and she is seeking estimates on repairs.  She also requested through the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office that the suspect be responsible for restitution for repairs.
