Several Veterans Day programs are scheduled this week at the Starke County Schools.
The Knox Elementary School Veterans Day program is tonight at 6 p.m. CT, the Knox High School Veterans Day program is Friday, November 10 at 9 a.m. and guests can enter the building through door 12H, and the Knox Middle School Veterans Day program is Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. CT and guests can enter through the main door.
The Oregon-Davis School Corporation Veterans Day program is Thursday, November 9 at 9 a.m. CT at the Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School with brunch to follow the program.
The North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation does not have any public programs planned. The Elementary School students have been writing letters of gratitude to send to service men and women.
Additionally, the Starke County Courthouse is lit up in green this week in honor and recognition of veterans.
