The Knox Community School Board approved a service agreement with the Bowen Center during their meeting last week.
“They already are in our schools, but we want some extra support at the middle school level,” said Mikulich. “This is going to provide them the opportunity to get into our middle school and help those students.”
Superintendent Greg Mikulich said the board members also took time last week to discuss the SCILL Center and the welding program.
“It’s just kind of an overview of the program, where are at financially with the welding program, and plans moving forward.”
Mikulich said the program can hold up to 40 students and is one of the more popular Career and Technical Education vocational classes.
