Knox Community School Board Discusses Hourly Employee Pay When Weather Affects School Day

The Knox Community School Board members discussed hourly employee pay when the corporation experiences a weather delay or closure.

Superintendent Greg Mikulich presented the information to the board.

“Some of our hourly employees were a little bit behind on pay so we’re trying to find a way to help them out during that time so that they can get their paychecks,” said Mikulich. “We would like to create some type of system where they can bank some hours so that when there is an eLearning day they can make up those hours down the road somewhere. That’s what we’re trying to look at.”

Additionally, the board recognized Knox High School Wrestler Katee Snyder. She recently placed fourth in the state in wrestling.
