The North Judson Town Council members adopted an annexation ordinance when they met Monday, March 18.
Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe reminded the council members that they opened a public hearing on the matter Monday, March 4 to take public comment on the proposed annexation petition and ordinance.
The ordinance concerns the annexation of 18 acres of real property into the incorporated boundaries of the Town of North Judson. The proposed acreage is in the area of State Road 10 and Oakwood for a potential future project. Plans are not complete at this time.
There were no public comments.
The first reading of the ordinance was approved March 4. During the meeting March 18, the council voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance as presented. It will now need to be published and then recorded as necessary with county officials.
