The Winamac Town Council members will open a public hearing tonight concerning an ordinance annexing real property for the Incorporated Town of Winamac.
The town council will hear from Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer about housing project updates, and Claude LeMere will discuss downtown revitalization.
Town Manager Brad Zellers will discuss cemetery mowing, and give updates on the downtown sidewalk and lighting projects, the blight grant project, and the garbage service.
The council will also discuss fire truck funding and a fire territory.
Water and Street Superintendent Jeremy Beckner, Electric Superintendent Doug Shorter and Wastewater Superintendent Jake Buckman will provide reports.
The Winamac Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight at the Winamac Utilities Complex at 623 W. 11th Street. The Winamac Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners will meet immediately following the Winamac Town Council meeting.
