The Eastern Pulaski School Board members approved meal prices for the upcoming school year, according to Superintendent Dara Chezem.
“The State recommends that the lunch meal price be $3.85, but since we have a positive balance in our cafeteria account we do not have to raise it to that extent,” explained Chezem. “We did not raise our prices at all last year and we are one of the lowest in the area. The board approved a $.10 increase to all meal prices for this upcoming school year.”
With that, milk will be $.55, Elementary School breakfast will be $1.35, Middle/High School breakfast will be $1.60, adult breakfast will be $2.20, Elementary School lunch will be $2.35, Middle/High School lunch will be $2.60, and adult lunch will be $4.30.
