The Knox Community School Board members adopted the 2025 budget during their Monday, October 21 meeting.
According to the Indiana Gateway website, the Rainy Day Fund was advertised at $1.3 million, the Debt Service Fund at about $2.8 million, the Education Fund at about $16.6 million, and the Operations Fund at just over $6 million. The total budget is $26,871,100.
The five-year Bus Replacement Plan shows two new school buses each year from 2025 to 2029. The Capital Projects Plan lists various updates to bleachers, roofing, parking lots, scoreboards, tennis courts, hallways, flooring, and air handlers in the next three years.
There were no public comments on the budget during the public hearing held earlier this month.
The budget will be submitted to the state for approval.
