The Knox Community School Board will meet for the first time in 2025 tonight where re-elected members Kirk Bennett, Autumn Ferch and Wendy McIntire will be given their oaths of office. Newly elected board member Dr. Thomas Browne was given his oath of office during a previous event held by Starke County government.
The board will hold the election of officers for 2025 and review Superintendent Greg Mikulich’s recommendations for appointments and memberships for 2025.
The board’s choice for legal advertisements in The Leader will be approved, and conflict of interest statements will be approved from board members Gary Dulin, Wendy McIntire, Dr. Thomas Browne, and Autumn Ferch. The board will also discuss the 2025-2026 school calendar.
Superintendent Mikulich will provide an update on the construction project at the High School.
The Knox Community School Board will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the Board Room in the Administration Building at #2 Redskin Trail in Knox.
Following the regular meeting, the board will hold its annual Board of Finance meeting where officers will be elected and the investment policy will be reviewed and approved. The fiscal indicators will also be presented.
