The Knox Park Board will meet tonight where they will elect officers for the new year.
The board will acknowledge Knox Mayor Dennis Estok’s appointment to the park board. His appointment is Glenn Barnes.
The park board members will also consider the acceptance of the mayor’s nomination of Bobby Trusty as park superintendent.
They will also discuss new picnic tables, trash cans and benches. An equipment purchase and field usage agreement will be reviewed. Movies in the Park will be discussed, as well as 2025 park employees and the 2025 concession stand contract.
Reports will be given by Activity Director Dennis Fornelli and other reports as necessary.
The Knox Park Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. CT at the Knox City Hall at 101 W. Washington Street in Knox.
