The Starke County Park Board members will meet tonight where they will hold the annual election of officers for the board to start off 2025.
The board will have a Facebook update and hold discussion on a department sponsored kayak/canoe trip in the summer of 2025. The presentation of an Arrowhead grant application topic pertaining to soil erosion on the banks of Bass Lake will be given, and discussion will be held on the 2025 seasonal campground, pier leases and pier installation contract.
Superintendent Amie Flora will also present a report to the board.
The Starke County Park Board will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
