The Knox Community School Board members adopted the 2025-2026 school calendar when they met this week, according to Superintendent Greg Mikulich.
“The first teacher day is August 4 and the first student day is August 6. The breaks are all very similar to what they were this year. The last student day is May 29, 2026, which is a Friday, last teacher day is June 1 and graduation is June 5, 2026,” said Mikulich.
The board also accepted a $5,000 donation from an anonymous donor to be used for the nature center and Elementary Science department. A $5,000 donation was accepted from former Knox student, Susan McKenna, to be used for the Fine Arts department, and the board accepted a donation from the Knox VFW Post #748 to be used for Bikes for Kids in the amount of $7,500.
