The Starke County Republican Party has chosen a new representative to serve on the Starke County Election Board.
Party Chairman Dave Kesvormas said Brent VanNorman was chosen to serve on the Starke County Election Board. VanNorman is a Vietnam Veteran who served in the USMC and US Army. He has many military awards for his service, including a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
VanNorman was sworn into office Friday, March 7 by Secretary of State Diego Morales.
Marcia Bedrock was thanked for her service on the Starke County Election Board.
The Starke County Republican Party also reorganized and retained Kesvormas as chairman, Bernadette Manuel as vice chairman, Donna Henry as secretary, and Lauri Venckus as treasurer.
