The Pulaski County Tribe was recently awarded a $10,000 Creative Convergence Early Action Grant awarded by the Indiana Arts Commission in partnership with Ball State University’s Indiana Communities Institute. As a result, the Tribe is launching something that could change the way the community experiences arts and culture
To kick off the conversation, PCT is inviting the community to a Creative Community Gathering on Thursday, March 20 at One Eyed Jacks Celebration Station in Winamac from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. This will be an opportunity for the community to come together to “shape what’s coming next for arts and culture in Pulaski County.”
“This isn’t just another community meeting. It’s an invitation to be part of something bigger,” says Brandi Larkin, President of Pulaski County Tribe. “We don’t have all the answers, but we know that the best ideas come from within our community. This gathering is about imagining, experimenting, and setting the stage for what could be.”
PCT encourages all residents, artists, organizations, and business owners – anyone who cares about the future of Pulaski County, to take part. Whether you’re an artist, an advocate for local culture, or simply someone who believes in the power of community, your piece of the puzzle matters. What’s next? This is just the beginning.
