According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana’s Free Fishing Days are coming up.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish in the state’s public waters. All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits do still apply.
The Department of Natural Resources states that Free Fishing Days are an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
This year’s Free Fishing Days will be Sunday, May 4th; June 7th and 8th, and September 27th.
