Indiana Connectivity Program Awards Over $1 Million to go Towards High-Speed Internet

According to a press release, the Office of Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs announced on April 9th that 371 addresses across 40 counties in Indiana will gain access to high-speed broadband as a result of $1,660,949 awarded in the 13th round of the Indiana Connectivity Program.

This high-speed broadband internet will become available for 70 addresses in Starke County, 18 addresses in La Porte County, and 1 address in Marshall county.

The funding assists internet providers with the expense of extending its services to unserved and underserved locations of Indiana.

Broadband providers must complete their projects within nine months of the contract date.
