According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, this Saturday and Sunday June 7th and 8th, will be Free Fishing Days in Indiana.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state’s public waters. All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply.
Free Fishing Days are an opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing. You can visit the Department of Natural Resources website to find locations throughout Indiana that are hosting Free Fishing Day Events, or to see fishing tips and videos.
