The Pup Assist Volunteer K9 Training Teams is looking for volunteers to help train local search and rescue K9s this upcoming Saturday, June 28th.
The beginner class volunteers, of which two are still needed, will meet at 9am Eastern Time in Kingsbury north of Highway 6.
There are 2-3 volunteers still needed for the advanced class, which will meet at the American Legion in Fish Lake at 9am Eastern Time.
Those volunteering will be playing hide and seek with the K9s, and the opportunity is open to individuals, families, and children with their adults’ permission. There are no special skills needed and questions and social time with the dogs is encouraged.
