The Starke County Youth Club is excited to announce its upcoming Drone Camp, made possible through the generous support of the NiSource Charitable Foundation and NIPSCO.
This engaging program is designed to introduce youth to drone technology, fostering skills in flying, responsibility, and career awareness.
The Drone Camp will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 8 through July 31, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The sessions will take place at the Knox Elementary School Cafeteria.
Over the course of this four-week, twice-weekly program, participants will learn the fundamentals of drones, how to operate them safely, and explore the various ways drones are used in real-world jobs. The camp emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and responsible ownership of technology.
