Knox is just one of many local communities hosting upcoming Fourth of July festivities.
On Saturday July 5th, the 4th of July parade will take place at 1pm Central Time. Food vendors at Wythogan Park will open at 2pm, and there will be activities in the park all day long. There will be bounce houses, DJ Jam Karaoke, face painting, kids games, and giant human hamster balls.
Sandy’s Dance Studio Y2k will be performing at 3pm at the performance stage. There will also be performances by Kalita & Master of Magic and Pro Wrestling King. There will be a cornhole tournament, a burnout contest, as well as the Yellow River Duck Race. The band Jolly Roger will be performing live from 6-9pm Central Time.
There is free walk-in admission all day and visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Parking in Wythogan Park will cost $10 per vehicle on July 5th. There will be a free tram service to and from the park available from 2pm – 11pm.
