According to an announcement from the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department, park restrooms will be closed beginning Wednesday October 15th, for the season.
The closure is to allow the maintenance staff to begin winterizing the restrooms. The Kesling Park walking trail restrooms will remain open while weather allows, but only from 7am – 2:30pm daily.
The Parks Department states that after October 15th, they will only unlock restrooms for reserved shelters and scheduled programs and events, weather permitting.
