The Starke County Humane Society will be holding a bluegrass and gospel jam fundraiser event this evening, from 6-10pm Central Time.
The event will be held at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox, which is located at 55 East Lake Street. Admission is a donation to the humane society.
The Humane Society recently shared that their greatest need are monetary donations to help pay for the cost of medical expenses.
The Humane Society also needs items such as Purina dog and cat food, Purina puppy and kitten food, kitty litter, baking soda, bleach, dawn dish soap, fabuloso, paper towels, wash cloths, dog treats, and either 13-gallon or 55+ gallon trash bags.
There will be a silent auction at the event, with items including a chocolate fountain, a Michael Kors purse, pet supplies, personal care supplies, home decorations, and more. There will also be t-shirts for sale at the event, with the entirety of the sales going to Starke County Humane Society.
The public is invited to attend this event.
