KNOX – The city of Knox is preparing for the cold winter months ahead. According to an announcement from Knox Mayor Dennis Estok, all water in city parks, including in restrooms and drinking fountains, will be shut off for the season during this week, the week of November 5th.
The announcement states that other park amenities, such as walking trails, will remain open for public use throughout the winter.
Mayor Estok goes on to thank residents for enjoying the parks over this past summer.
