The Starke County Humane Society shared a warning with its followers yesterday about an online scam.
The announcement came Tuesday afternoon, with the Humane Society sharing a screen shot of a comment on one of their Facebook posts.
The comment mentions alumni t-shirts, mugs, and hoodies and urges readers to order quickly before items sell out.
This comment is a scam and the link leads to a sales page that is not associated with the Starke County Humane Society in any way.
The Humane Society has shared that it will NOT post any links to purchase items, and urges followers to report fraudulent comments and posts to Facebook.
