Starke County Youth Club Radiothon Set for May 1

Knox, Indiana — The Starke County Youth Club will host its annual Radiothon fundraiser on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. live on WKVI K99.3 FM.

The community event invites listeners throughout the county to support programs that serve the children and families in our community through afterschool, morning, summer, and enrichment programs. This year’s theme continues, “Growing Greatness,” and reflects the organization’s ongoing mission to help young people learn, grow, and build strong futures.

During the live broadcast, supporters can call in pledges and share messages that will be read on the air. Donations raised during the Radiothon help support local youth programming and safe spaces where young people can connect with caring adults and develop new skills.

“The Radiothon is a testament to this community and how much they believe in the potential of our kids. May 1st is a wonderful way to come together and support local youth,” said Irene Szakonyi, Executive Director of the Starke County Youth Club. “Every gift provides the fertile ground in which kids grow today and succeed tomorrow.”

Community members can support the Radiothon by tuning in to WKVI K99.3 FM during the broadcast, calling in a pledge, or donating online at thescyc.org.
