Francesville’s Dumpster Days this week

The town of Francesville is reminding citizens that this week are its annual dumpster days.

The Dumpster Days in Francesville will take place this week, May 14th through 16th from 8am to 10pm Eastern Time.

The dumpsters will be located at the corner of James and South Bill Streets, in the building of the Von Tobel Lot; and is for residents of the town of Francesville only.

The dumpster is first come, first served until it is full, and the town has shared a list of items that are accepted and not accepted.

Items accepted for the Dumpster include furniture such as mattresses and box springs, couches and recliners, and tables and chairs. Household junk and clothing is acceptable, as well as light construction debris like drywall, flooring, and lumber.

Items that are not accepted for the dumpster include tires, batteries, and electronics. TVs, appliances such as refrigerators, and washers and dryers will not be accepted.

No paint or bulk liquids like grease, oil, solvents, or chemicals.

Please do not dump hazardous waste into the dumpster, and no yard waste such as leaves, shrubs, tree limbs, grass clippings, or dirt. No treadmills, and no cement, gravel, dirt, bricks, or shingles.
